Relaxation Tips

Throughout pregnancy it’s a good idea to take a few minutes every evening
to completely unwind from the day's events. Here are a few tips:

  • Lie on your sofa or bed with your legs resting on two pillows. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
  • Dim the lights or light a candle and take a warm bath scented with your favorite bath salts.
  • If weather permits, sit outdoors in a comfortable chair and sip a cup of tea or glass of cool lemonade.
  • Dress comfortably, put on your sneakers, and take a walk in the fresh air.
  • Browse in a bookstore and pick up a good book.
  • Listen to your favorite music. Your baby will enjoy it, too!
