Relaxation Tips

Make it a habit to spend some time relaxing every day. Here are a few tips:

  • Lie on your sofa or bed with your legs resting on two pillows. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
  • Dim the lights or light a soy candle. Take a warm bath scented with your favorite bath soaking salts.
  • If weather permits, sit outdoors in a comfortable chair and sip a cup of herbal tea or a glass of cool lemonade.
  • Dress comfortably, put on your sneakers, and take a walk in the fresh air.
  • Browse in a bookstore and pick up a good book.
  • Listen to your favorite music. Your baby will enjoy it, too!
